EDEN

God, you have been everything

since the beginning

I am

Jehovah Ori

the God of Light

for in the beginning, you said

“Let there be light”

yet the stars and the moon

had not formed yet

We see you as Jehovah Jireh

when you created the sky, which

allowed for the sea, then you made

space for the dry land.

and on that land, you spoke forth vegetation

vegetation that could not have

been without the sky, sea, and land

You continue to be Jehovah Jireh

when you then create the sun, moon, and stars.

Then you tell the waters and then the sky

to inhabit living creatures according to their kind.

You then call forth for the land to produce

living creatures and after you prepare the garden,

we see you as Ruach Elohim

when you formed and breathed life

into man to govern the garden

Time may not permit me to explain how you are

Kadosh, the Holy One, Yahweh Nissi, our banner,

El Shaddai, and so much more.

Jehovah, thank you for being all things

in the beginning
